How to solve corrupt installation?

Hello Forum,
This is a query for the technical staff.
I have installed Studio 13 and it has replaced Studio 09. i opened a project which was created in Studio 09 and Studio 13 updated it while creating a backup.I also linked to the embedded Engage and Quizmaker within Studio 13.
All seemed good until I attempted to update the Engage or Quizmaker interactions. I received a Windows error dialogue which read "Articulate Engage '13 has stopped working (see attachments). I cannot open Engage or Quizmaker and intermittently I receive runtime errors.
My system details are as follows:
- Windows 7 Professional 64bit Service Pack 1
- Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 - 32bit Service Pack 2
I have uninstalled, restarted the PC and reinstalled Studio 13 but the problem persists
Any ideas?
