The hyplerlinks in my Guided Image interaction opens in a new tab when clicked (this doesnt happen in preview or when I check my review my published output
The problem is that i get a message saying the browser is trying to close the tab. No matter which option I select I "lose" the tab where my elearn sits completely disappears meaning that i have to log in to the LMS again and pick up where I left off
I dont see any options in the set up of the interaction itself that can provide me with a workaround for this
Suggestions please?
I need this course to be available yesterday already so any and all help will be greatly appreciated
If your LMS is launching your Engage content in a frame, I'd recommend asking them if they have a way to allow you to launch your Engage content in a new window instead. If the opposite is true and your LMS is launching your content in a new window, you might try seeing if a frame resolves the problem.
In any event, testing your content at SCORM Cloud will help you to determine whether this is a problem with your content or with your LMS. Good luck!

Thanks for the above response. My firm is VERY risk averse and I'm a bit hesitant to test it in the SCORM cloud

You could perform comparative testing of your published output just about anywhere. Amazon S3, Dropbox, and Google Drive are 3 good examples.
The other important step is to ask your LMS vendor about the launch alternatives I mentioned in my first response. Good luck!
