Importing audio error

Nov 21, 2013

Whilst trying to import an mp3 audio file i have received the following message.

I have managed to do this previously with no issue so don't know why this is happening now.  If i select Continue then the system freezes and i need to re-boot.

A colleague with the same system set up is able to import Audio files with no problem.

Thanks for your reply.

The error message states

"Application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy.  To grant this application the required permission, contact your system administrator, or use the Microsoft.NET Framework Configuration Tool."

I forgot to mention that i have Articulate Studio 09 rather than Articulate 13 and am unable, due to our system constraints, to follow the repair steps as suggested.

Hi Lisa,

Since this error message mentions a "security policy" it sounds like something within your system, hence the need for a repair.  Are you able to follow the steps included in this repair to also ensure your version of the Microsoft.Net is installed correctly? Also, rereading your error message I say that it it referenced Internet Explorer 4? I wanted to point you to our system requirements, where you'll see for viewing content you'll need Internet Explorer 6 or later.
