Interaction playback mode

Apr 07, 2014

I have a labeled graphic interaction.  I would like people to be able to click on the items they're not sure about then continue on to the next slide.  I've tried several combos, but can't seem to achieve this.  I have "Allow user to leave interaction" set to "at any time".  I have the Playback mode" set to "Interactive - user can advance in any order".  If I take away the Next button, there's no way to advance to the next slide.  If I show the Next button and the user last clicked on, say #1 of 14, the next button takes them through each of the other labels, even if they've already viewed them.  I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but what?

Hi Alison!

If you 'allow the user to leave interaction' they can still navigate via the menu if need be and the interactive setting is good if they will be clicking in the image/interaction.

I understand that this functionality is not ideal in all situations and we have had many users submit feature requests on this, and you are welcome to do so as well.

If you want to avoid the confusion though, a more linear approach will prevent them from thinking they are stuck in the interaction when they go to hit the next button if they have clicked through interactively.
