Hi Lew! Based on our previous discussion, is it safe to assume you're using Engage 360?
There isn't a way to increase the font size of the text within the tabs - you can only change the color of the tab and the font itself. However, I recreated your interaction, and the font size I see is larger than the font in the screenshot you attached here.
Would you mind sharing your Engage file here so I can take a closer look at your settings and try to replicate them in my file? You can use the Add Attachment button at the bottom of the reply window.

Does the interaction size have anything to do with the text size and the player size?

If I change your Interaction Size to the built-in 720x405 (16:9), then it looks like this:
