Interactions not inserting into PowerPoint
Apr 09, 2015
Hi, I'm having an issue with Engage that I've not had before. Usually, I can create an Engage interaction from within PowerPoint by clicking from the Articulate Tab. Today however, I can click Engage Interaction, select my interaction type and enter a title, and then the loading box appears but nothing happened.
I was able to create an interaction by bypassing PowerPoint and going straight to Engage, and then insert it through PowerPoint, but it wouldn't let me have as long as title for the interaction.
I have tried rebooting and that hasn't solved the issue. Is there anything you can suggest?
Thanks.

Hi Anne!
If Articulate Studio '13 isn't working properly, a simple repair may fix the problem.
Also, be sure that you are working locally :)
Hi Leslie
Thank you for a prompt response. I finished the presentation by creating the interactions seperately and then inserting them, and then ran the fix. However, I've gone back into the presentation to preview it before publishing, but every time I try to preview there is an error report (one of which I've sent). I tried rebooting and this didn't work. When this has happened in the past, either closing the program and re=opening or a re-boot has solved the problem.
Thanks
Anne
Hi Anne!
If you shared the error report, this goes to our Development team for awareness and has no link back to the user reporting. If you'd like us to take a look and assist, we would need you to share your Articulate Package with our team here.
Hi Leslie,
When I logged on this morning, that presentation decided to magically work, although I've since had issues with a completely separate presentation. It let him insert one interaction, but not another, and then constantly has errors when I try to preview or publish the presentation. I ran the fix and rebooted, but it's still occurring.
I'll send this through the link above as you suggest.
Thanks
Anne
Thanks Anne!
Hi Leslie
I keep getting a message saying they're having trouble processing my request - any thoughts?
Thanks,
Anne
