locked navigation

Oct 04, 2012

Hi Everyone,

i have had to lock the navigation on my course so the learner can only move forward using the left hand side of the screen.  They can move to the next slide or view the slides they have already seen. When I did this my Engage interaction didn't work anymore. Once in the interaction you can't move to the slide beyond it.  Anyone know how I solve this?

I have tried different settings and so far I have not found the group of settings that would allow me to lock the navigation and still proceed through the interaction without getting an error message.

Hi Tanya,

What do your Engage placeholder properties look like?

Sorry that didn't work as I planned it. I will try again.

I have attached a file with the screen shots of the settings.  Let me know if you need anything else

Thanks for the screenshot, Tanya

From within Presenter, click on the slide that contains your Engage interaction. Then, you should have a button called Properties at the bottom of your screen. Click that, and try setting the properties to what I have selected in the screenshot below.

If that doesn't give you the navigation you're looking for, please feel free to contact our support team and we'll be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. Thanks!
