Lost audio in QM and Engage screens in published program

When I publish my program, the audio for the quizmaker and engage screens does not play. I imported the audio into these screens and it is there, it just seems as though the files are becoming unlinked. So, as a solution, I opened the PPTX file and then opened all the engage and quizmaker files and saved to presenter and published again, and when I went to publish, the audio returned. However, then I lost it again and had to do it all over again. I also have a button for the glossary, and that audio is no longer playing either. I have experienced audio loss in Presenter files and had to reimport it all again and again (easy if  you keep track of which audio files need to go where, but still kind of a pain to do), but this is a different problem. Can anyone provide some advice because opening all the engage and QM files from the PPTX files every time I need to make a small change and republish is something I would like to avoid if I can.
