I am trying to insert a mp4 movie into my powerpoint presentation using the articulate ribbon. When I publish and preview, the movie plays fine, but when I zip the file and upload it to my LMS, I no longer see the movie. As an aside, .swf files play fine. I am not sure what is going on.

First, you should verify that your webserver/LMS supports the .MP4 MIME type.
