Need help recreating Player Tab Interactions!
Jul 29, 2015
Hello,
First time using Presenter - I am revising an old course made with Presenter 09. The client wants the player tab in the interactions to look like the old course, only I don't have a clue how it was made.
Attached is a screen shot of how one of the interactions in the old course looks, and one of how my current one looks. I am hoping someone will know how to get mine to look like the old one. It doesn't look like there are any Engage Interactions that include just an image - no steps, or arrows, etc. Please help!
As an added bonus - if anyone is able to tell me whether I could get the rest of the player to match the old one - note the different controls & seek bar- I would really appreciate it!

Hi Monica,
The player within Studio '13 changed, and therefore you won't be able to make it look the same as Studio '09. You could look at creating your own custom player using the Studio SDK .
Hope that helps!
Are you referring to the Player Tab Interaction, or just the Player / Skin?
That's pretty much the answer I expected about the skin, but more importantly is that I need the Interaction to look the same as the old one.
Is it possible to insert a slide in player tab content, similar to the lightbox option in storyline?
Hi Monica,
I'm sorry - it seems I misunderstood your question based on the images you shared. You can still insert an Engage interaction as a player tab in Presenter and in Storyline following the linked tutorials.
With Storyline you'll need to take the extra step after importing it, to then go to the player and link a custom player tab to that Engage slide.
Hope that helps and let us know if you need anything else!
No, that doesn't really help. I already know how to create Interaction, and how to add them to a player tab. The problem is that none of the available interactions will suit what I need.
What I need is to insert an image, with out having to use arrows, tabs, or icons. Just an image preferably bigger than just half of the window. Is that at all possible?
Hi Monica,
Since I seem to not be understanding - could you share a copy of the project file in question and some additional information about what image or interaction you're looking to replicate?
Thanks!
