I am hoping someone can help. For some reason I can't get my media files (graphics or Flash files) to open in a new window from Engage. They will display within the Engage, but won't open in a new window. I have published the files and still no joy.
I used to be able to do this but after having my computer rebuilt I no longer can. Just wondering if anyone has a solution to this problem.
It can open in a new window, it's just going to be smaller and opens as a new Flash window rather than a browser window. The issue is with opening a new browser window.
Hi Justin. My colleague who sits next to me can get the graphics to open in a new window, and I used to be able to do this. But for some reason it just won't work for me anymore. I even removed all of the Articulate software and re-installed it.
I have attached a graphic of the error message I get when I preview it in Powerpoint. When I try to preview it in it's published form clicking on the graphic gets no response at all. Cheers. Craig
Hi Justin. Yes, they advised me that once you publish it to Presenter that the graphic will not load in a new window. It is a known error. So the workaround is to load any large graphics in the Attachments tab for learners to access.

Thanks Justin! Yes, the Flash file is now working.
Just one more question - so you cannot have a graphic open in a new window?

Can you check to make sure you are using the latest version of Presenter.

You can check in the Help -> About Articulate Presenter menu. If you aren't, I would download and install the latest version to see if that helps.

If it doesn't, please submit a case and we'll help you out;

Thanks Justin. I have submitted a case. I do have the latest versions of Presnenter and again.
Was the solution they provided correct?
