"next" in Quick Choice interactions

May 18, 2020

I'm sure there is probably a simple fix for this but I can't find it. I am using Quick Choice interactions and I want the viewer to keep trying among the three options until they get the correct answer. I want the "next" button to only work after they have selected the correct option.

Currently, the viewer can keep selecting the options (and get the "yes, you're correct" or "no, that's not correct" feedback but they can also go to the next slide whenever they want.

How do I control this? Thanks,

Hi Nina,

Great question!

With the Quick Choice interaction, it is meant as a way for the learner to click on each choice and is more of an informal quiz. There currently isn't a feature to disable the Next button until the correct answer is selected.

With that said, what may help here is to build out this interaction using Quizmaker 360. In Quizmaker, the learner will need to select the answer they want to submit before they can progress. You can also determine how many attempts they have to answer that question. For more details on Quizmaker, this guide should help point you in the right direction:
