Printing Engage Interactions

Feb 27, 2012

Good Morning, folks~

I want to be able to print out my Articulate/Engage course for learners to use as a Job Aid.

When I use the "Save & Send" --> 'Create PDF Document", I get one PDF document of all the slides, yet the interaction is saved as one page; the content of the intereactions is not captured.

Is there a way I can make one, comprehensive document of my Engage course, including interaction pages/content for my learners?

Thanks!

Elizabeth

Hey Peter~

So what I understand from the link you provided (Thanks again!  You keep coming to my rescue. :P)

(1) FROM POWERPOINT: I print out the PPT slides portion of Engage into Word through: "Save & Send" --> Create Handouts--> "Blank Lines Below Slide"  (So it mimics the look of how Articulate publishes the interactions).

(2) FROM ENGAGE (NOT the Articulate tab in PowerPoint):  Publish each individual interaction (built into the PPT) to Word.

(3) Insert the Interaction Word pages into the PPT Word doc at the appropriate time (when the Interaction would show during the course).

(4) PDF the whole dang thing for my learner!

That's what I came up with and listed this for other folks who may have to do the same thing (or who hae a better idea!) when their course is PPT based with one or more interactions built in.

Thanks!

Hi Georgina and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

If Articulate Studio '13 isn't working properly, a simple repair may fix the problem.

When creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Engage '13 interactions, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. See this article for more information.
