Removing the header
Feb 28, 2011
I've trawled the pages and found plenty of things telling me that it's not possible to remopve the headers, but when you look at the case studies on Kineo's website, they've managed to do it.
Is there any way to get rid of the header at the top of an engage interaction?
I know how to make things transparent so that it.s slightly better, but ultimately, I'd really like to be able to get rid of it altogether.
Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris-
Here are a couple links on how to make the color of the header fade into the background:

Thanks for those, they dont really do what I want, but they're good info all the same.
I was hoping there'd be a command I could put into the XML files that would switch off the shadow, or turn off the header altogether. Never mind.

Hey Chris, although it's not possible out of the box to remove the header, James Kingsley of elearningenhanced created a solution that you might be interested in checking out: http://elearningenhanced.com/products/engage-controls
Hi Chris,
By "transparent" do you mean that you changed the header color to be the same as the PPT so it blends in? Or can you actually choose a transparent "color." I couldn't figure out how to do the latter - if you know, can you please share?
If it's the former, which color element(s) did you change?
Thanks!
Dan
Hi Chris,
Jeanette has got it nailed- James Kingsley of elearningenhanced has
a very good solution. I use it all the time, works great.
Cheers
