I went into the Player properties within each individual Engage interaction and clicked the checkbox to display the seekbar. When I previewed the interactions, it was there, but when published, the seekbar is not visible on the slides that contain an Engage interaction. Am I missing a step?
You mention 'each individual Engage interaction', which makes me think that you are adding your Engage interactions into Presenter and that's where you are not seeing the seekbar?
If that's correct, Studio '13 has an integrated player and Presenter would actually control this, so be sure to allow the seekbar via slide properties in Presenter.
Seems I am having the same problem but not in Presenter '13. I imported a presentation that I originally put together in Presenter, including interactions into Storyline 2. The quizmaker files work fine displaying the seekbar, but the engage interactions do not. When I open the engage interactions, it shows the seekbar box as checked, but in the window there is no seekbar.
I have searched all over the internet for a solution and this is the only (semi-close) string.
Hi Meredith! Would you be able to share your project file so that we could take a look? It sounds like you are having issue with Storyline 2? I just want to be sure I understand what you are reporting and try to assist.
Just popped back in to check on your case and it looks like you were at least able to get down to what was going on.
For anyone following along, Miker shared:
It looks like the behavior you're seeing is by design at the moment. This is because Storyline imports Engage interactions as web objects, which is different from how it is imported into a Articulate Presenter presentation.
Engage interactions are imported into Storyline as web objects, meaning they'll play as standalone interactions that are simply embedded in your course. As a result, you won't be able to control the web object using the seekbar, as you have mentioned.
Engage Interactions are still added as web objects within your course as shared above. You can take a look at our documentation here.
Many interactions that can be built within Engage can be created in Storyline as well, so feel free to share what you are working with if you need assistance and I bet someone in the community can get you started with your design :)

Thanks so much.
I actually submitted a ticket: RE: Case #00735507 if that helps.

Is there a way to use the Seekbar with imported Engage files into Storyline yet?
