slide progression

Feb 14, 2013

I wasn't sure whether to publish this question in presenter or engage. The presentation i've just developed is a combination of power point information slides interspersed with some engage slides. The engage slides i have developed (FAQ template and Labeled Graphic). Both of these slides are disappearing too quickly when viewed as an e learning course. Once the participant has clicked the final interaction it is almost immediately progressing to the next slide without allow enough time to read the final interaction detail. I've tried making adjustments in the interaction properties in engage, there are no transitions or timings on the slides in powerpoint. I've also manipulated the player templates and presentation options in presenter to try and address this without success. I need these engage slides configured so there is no 'autorun', i want the user to choose when to navigate to the next slide by clicking next with the mouse. How can i achieve this?

Hi Kate,

I just want to make sure I'm understanding what you'd like to accomplish. Are you trying to slow down the progression, or set it so that the user can advance when they'd like to. It sounds like the presentation with the interactions is advancing automatically, is that right?

If you go into the "Slide Properties" of Presenter, you can modify how the slide with the interactions advances.

It'll look something like this:

Will this work for you?

If this isn't what you're trying to accomplish, can you give me some more information about the presentation?

Thanks!
