How can I cause audio narration being played on current tab in Engage interaction when the learner advances to another tab manually to fix issue with multiple audio narration playing simultaneously?
I have Playback Mode in Interaction Properties set to Interactive - user can advance in any order.
I found option of when to play sound effects but can't find option to stop current narration when user advances interaction before audio on current tab finishes playback.
Could you tell us a bit more about your interaction? Have you included this in a Presenter file or Storyline file? What version of Engage are you using, Engage '13 or '09?
Hi Richard! I do not have an update to provide at this time as it is still in the hands of our QA Team. This thread has been flagged for update when applicable.
Does anyone know if there was an easy fix to this? I also regularly have audio on a tabbed interaction and if a user moves quickly there are multiple voice tracks playing
I have a similar problem with Storyline 2. I have created a tabs type interaction. Each tab has a different set of audio. However, what is annoying that even when users do not press the next tab, the audio of the next tab continues to play. How can I stop the audio?

Hi Ashley
I'm using Engage '13 and embedding the interaction in PPT/Presenter '13.
Hi Chris!
This is actually an issue that has been filed with our QA Team for when tabs are quickly navigated, the audio can overlap.
I do not have an update to provide, but I will add this thread to our reported issue.
Hi Leslie.
Any developments on this audio overlap issue when engage tabs are quickly navigated through under Studio '13 (Engage and presenter 13)?

Hi Rishi! Unfortunately, this issue is still in the hands of our QA Team and I do not have an update to provide.
Workarounds:
Refrain from navigating through the tabs too quickly.
Change the navigation options for the interaction.
