I made my first labeled graphic interaction!! And I must say it looks great. I am so happy with how quick it all come together - I am new to Engage and it is WAYYY easier to user than I ever imagined. I'm excited about doing more stuff with this tool. The only thing is, I'm wondering if there's a way to stop the little swirling dot from doing that. How do I turn the swirling off?
You can change that. Click on interaction properties and when you're on that window, click the Labeled Graphic option. Its the 2nd one from the top. And there's a thing called Marker Animation that will say Swirl but you can change it to None. Congrats on building your first interaction, btw! Engage is pretty cool.
Hey Cynthia - currently, the animation is either on or off; it's not possible to make it conditional - i.e., stop it from animating once the learner has visited a particular section. That would make a very cool feature request though! http://www.articulate.com/support/contact/feature/
I like the graphic of the swirl but is there a way to delete the text box that accompanies markers? I can't figure it out! It's probably right in front of me too.
Hey Elyse, not sure if this would fit your needs or not, but there is a way to make the labels "audio only" so that when learners click, only the marker title appears, and any audio that you've added to the marker will play. It omits showing the area where descriptive text/ movie/ image would normally appear. Here's how.
