Tab Interaction - reducing time

I created a tab interaction with no audio. It runs for 15 seconds before the Forward button becomes active on the player controls. Although there is a next slide button, this is still confusing some of the learners. Is there a way to reduce the elapsed time for the slide?

Hi Susan and welcome to Heroes,

When you click on Interaction Properties in Engage & select the Playback tab, which Playback Mode are you using? Are you using Presentation? If so, can you try changing the option to 5 seconds to see if that resolves the issue?

If that doesn't resolve the issue, go into Presenter & click on Presentation Options. Then, select the publish tab. In the "Slides without audio or animation display for X seconds", change it to 5.

I am having the same problem but with presenter. I have a slide with multiple animations which add up to 21 seconds, but the slide runs for 29 seconds. I have the "Advance Slide" option in PPT set to "On Mouse Click". Is there a way to reduce the time? I have the Presentation Options set to 0, but no change.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your response. I'm using Interactive playback mode, and under Presentation Options I have slides without audio or animation displaying for 1 second. Any other ideas?
