I've published a program with several Tab interactions. I've set the program to allow people to close the interaction any time. But I can't get past the first interaction to the next slide.
OK...here's another stab at it. Could it be that if you wait until the time is up, you CAN then proceed? That's what's happening for me. I thought making a change in the Presentation Options button from 5 to 1 second would work, but it doesn't seem to be doing it.
In any case, can you confirm/refute whether slide timing (in Presenter) has any effect either way?
Lisa, I really think it's the restricted mode (Presenter template) that's causing this. If I switch to Free...User can switch slides at any time, I don't run into this problem. Can you explain a little more about why you need to set restricted and yet still allow the user to leave the slide whenever they want?
we want them to view slides in order, and not skip from slide 1 to the first assessment. We want them to be able to leave at any time in case something comes up while taking the program that requires their immediate attention.

Was there any follow-up on this? I'm having the same problem. Client wants "Restricted" navigation (against my warnings) and tabbed interactions aren't prompting the blinking play button (they do not want the "next page" button either.

Slide 8 is the first tab interaction. here's the link:
http://images.hw.net/WhiteCap_courses/Glossary_Final/LMS/player.html
slide properties are set to "by user" for the interaction.
Interaction properties are set to "leave anytime;" show Next slide button "after viewing the steps;" button label "Next Slide"
Interaction is set to "Interactive" and previous and next buttons are not shown.
Hi Lisa,
I'm thinking the setting that causes that prompt is in the Presenter template, not the Engage setup.
If you
I ran a quick test, and that's what I came up with. If not, let us know and one of us will jump in.
The above is correct. But the problem is that once all of the steps in the Tabs interaction have been viewed, I still cannot advance past it.

I posted the link to my course above.
I will try the timing thing.
I've waited until the audio on the last tab is done. The play button does not turn blue and blink and the forward button does not work.

Perhaps someone else will know how to reconcile those two things. Wish I could come up with something.
I am having exactly the same issue - is this a known bug? Does anyone else have any ideas here?

I've not been able to resolve this.
