Unable to publish Engage files to a Word format

Hi, I created an online HR101 course with 10 modules about 4 years ago and it is time to revise the material. I used Studio 09 and included Engage and Quizmaker when building the modules. I am trying to publish them to Word so we have a 'storyboard' to use for making notes/revisions when revising the course. For some reasons many of the Engage files won't let me publish to Word now. I get an 'Articulate Engage '09 has stopped working' error.

These courses were created on my desktop. After completion, they were zipped using Articulate Package and moved to a network to save/backup for future use. Today I copied the zipped files back to the desktop and did a full extract and save to the desktop.

Any ideas what could be causing the error? I'm pretty sure publishing to Word worked 4 years ago when I originally created them.

Hi, Cindy - Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues, but here's where we can start:

If you find that your Engage '09 application is producing random errors or is crashing, a simple and quick fix to try and correct this can be found here.

If you continue to experience the same issue, please review the troubleshooting steps in this article. Please let us know if issues persist, and we can dig a little deeper!

Thanks for the info Christie. I tried the quick fix. Some of the Publish are now working, however others still give an error message. I'll try the troubleshooting tips later (looks like a re-install).
