Changing the Administrator in an Articulate Online Basic Plan ?

Hello everyone, my question is do these steps work for any Articulate Online account?

I'm assuming that these steps to change the administrator will work for any Articulate Online account, but the reason I ask is because it says specifically 'Articulate Online Basic Plan' in the instructions:

If you would like to change the designated Administrator in an Articulate Online Basic Plan, please do the following:

  1. Log in to your Articulate Online account with the existing Administrator security credentials.
  2. Select the Settings tab.
  3. Select the option to Change Your E-Mail Address.
  4. Enter the e-mail address of the new Administrator, and click the Change Email button.
  5. Check the email of the new Administrator.
  6. Click the link in the email you receive to confirm the email change.

Hi, David.

Those instructions will work for other Articulate Online accounts, if you are looking to replace one administrator with another. I believe the reason Basic Plan is specified is because other plan levels allow for more than one administrator, so it usually isn't necessary to follow these steps to add or change administrators in the other plans.

Hi Ann,

I have a Basic Plan for Articulate Online and I am trying to change the Administrator as my email address has changed. I have followed the above instructions. Firstly, I try to uncheck the current Administrator but  when I click on Save, I get a message that says: 'You may not remove yourself from the Administrator's Group'. If I try to add the new administrator, I get a message saying: 'Your plan does allow adding more administrators. Help!!!
