Can I download a file created in Articulate whose link is in the public domain. Rather than relying on their server to view the program, I would like to download a copy to access. How can I do that? Thanks
I'm not sure I understand your question, you're trying to access a course that is posted within Articulate Online and download it for offline viewing? This wouldn't allow for your responses to be tracked and recorded (which is a main purpose of hosting a course in AO). If I'm misunderstanding, can you please provide a bit more information?
Articulate Online does not allow the viewing of courses offline due to the build in abilities of viewing and tracking content. You can read more about that in this article. You could always publish your content for CD if you have a need for offline viewing. You could then:
Burn the published output to a CD.
Burn the published output to a DVD.
Copy the published output to a USB drive.
Zip the published output, and copy it to a network drive. (Users must extract the zip file before viewing.)
Zip the published output, and email it directly to users. (Users must extract the zip file before viewing.)
A community suggestion, in this thread is also included below:
Zip the published output, and then add that zipped file to the Resources tab (Users must extract the zip file before viewing.)
For the Articulate Mobile Player app though, you can check the 'Allow downloading for offline viewing' option in the Publish dialog and then users who may access it through the app could download it.

Yes, you have it right. It would be used for study -- no need for responses to be tracked. It doesn't involve testing, etc.

No problem Elaine.
