Mass Content Changes

Is there any way to change Permissions for content on a global scale? I've recently taken over my company's Articulate Online account. We have 70 pieces of content that I'd like to "archive" by making private so I can start fresh with new content for my groups. I'd rather not have to individually change the permissions of 70 content items manually one by one if possible...

Well, well, well. Look who it is!
There's no way to do a mass update via our web interface, but it would be possible through the Articulate Online API.
Do you have access to the API? If not, it's probably best (though painstaking) to do a manual update.
Good luck, and happy holidays
Thanks, Mr. Anderson! I haven't delved into the API side of things yet, but I may need to look into it down the road. First glance says "COMPLEX!".
If I could make a suggestion for the 'base' model of AO? Allow some mass editing functionality for content.
Followup question: Is there anyway to organize the Content beyond one mass list with what's visible based on user permissions? Perhaps sub-folders or the like? If not, another humble suggestion : )
Hey Drew!
Yup, agreed. I'd also like to see more mass editing ease. Feel free to drop a formal feature request to us. Our development team sees every single one that comes through. I'll join you in filling one out!
Tags are a cool way to sort your content, and might be a good solution for you. You can enable them right through the User Portal. There's a great tutorial on using them here. Think that would help?
