Problem with two courses not displaying correctly in Articulate Online

Two courses that were created in 2013 are not displaying the company logo within Articulate Online.

I went back to PPT and to the Presenter tab and found the logo wasn't checked to display (think I upgraded to Articulate 2013 after these two courses were created).  I corrected the information within Articulate Properties and re-published the courses but they still don't show it.

Additionally, I have some knowledge checks within the course where the user clicks the answer and is branched by a link inside PPT to either the "you're correct" or "you got it wrong" response.  These are fine within PPT but not responding when published online in Articulate Online.  I have attached packages for the two courses.

Hi Ann,

In regards to the logo, when you republished was it overriding the previous course? If so, I'd look at ensuring  that you've cleared out the cache of your browser to ensure you're seeing it as a fresh restart of the course and not a previously loaded copy.

In regards to the feedback - what are you seeing when clicking on the answer? Does the course just freeze or you're brought to another slide instead of seeing the feedback as indicated?

Hi Ann,

So the logo issue sounds as if it's viewing a cached copy if you're able to see it in a new browser. So again I'd look at clearing the cache and viewing it again in your browser.

As far as the freezing - I see slide 27 and the Confidentiality file, and it looks like it's set up as a quiz slide, but it's just a standard Powerpoint slide - so there is nothing to click on and I don't see any slides that link to the included Quizmaker quiz you mentioned. So I don't see that it's freezing but that the quiz isn't linked and therefore there isn't anything to click on.

Yes, the knowledge checks are not in Quizmaker.  Only the final assessment is in Quizmaker.

They are in the standard PPT ...  they have the hidden links inserted within PPT so that when the trainee checks the correct answer it advances them to the "you got it right" slide and if they check the incorrect one, it advances them to the "sorry you are wrong" slide.    When I go to the source PPT in slide show view, it advances as it should.  But it's not doing it when published.  Nothing happens at all when you click it when it should advance to the linked response.

These have always worked, not only in these two courses but in others published as recently as two weeks ago.  I'm not sure what to do about it.

Attaching the source PPT in case it helps.

Hi Ann,

Thanks for the clarification and since you can't "see" the hyperlinks right away I didn't notice them, my apologies.

I'm also not able to use them in Preview although you mentioned that worked for you. I'm curious if you could share a bit more about the creation of this set up such as:

  • Was it a project upgraded from Presenter 09?
  • Were there previously other items that covered the hyperlinks?
  • What update of Presenter '13 are you currently using?
  • I know you're publishing for Articulate Online, have you tried publishing anywhere else such as for web and then placing on a test server such as Tempshare?
  • Did the same links work previously in AO, Presenter, or both?

Was it a project upgraded from Presenter 09?  Yes
Were there previously other items that covered the hyperlinks? No
What update of Presenter '13 are you currently using? When I went to check it offered me an upgrade to version 6 so I am installing it now
I know you're publishing for Articulate Online, have you tried publishing anywhere else such as for web and then placing on a test server such as Tempshare? No
Did the same links work previously in AO, Presenter, or both?  Yes, they did work originally in both.

Also...the links when in PPT but not in Presenter preview mode.
