1st bullet disappearing

I'm having the oddest problem. I have a rather large presentation, and when I published I found that the first bullet on about half of the slides isn't visible. Not the entire line - just the bullet.
I was having other problems with the presentation (it's 148 slides with 38 slide masters so it's a beast), but I fixed all of those, and now the only problem is a missing bullet on some of the slides.
Has anyone ever seen this before?
Many thanks,
Heidi

I've had this happen. Sometimes it resolves if I delete the text box, recreate it from scratch, and then republish. Not sure what causes it...
Thanks Rachel!
I figured out that the ones that were publishing correctly aren't bullets. Whereas I have letter bullets, I'm just going through, taking out the bullets, adding text letters, and formatting it to look like they're bullets. I think this will work as a work around.
Can you share one of the slides with the issue on it?
Hi Tom,
I don't have it anymore. I went through and stripped the bullet formatting, and now everything is running smooth.
Thanks though,
Heidi
This happened to me today. I'm disappointed with the work around, it doesn't look quite right and all of the other bullets in the presentation are just fine.
That happens to me all the time!
If the first line of text (in the text box) includes a bullet, the bullet will always disappear when you publish. It's an easy fix if you put a return before the bullet, it now is technically the second line of text, and the bullet will appear.
Hope that's helpful in the future!
Thanks, Kristin
