Be sure you're testing the Exit control using the output option you selected. For example, if you published for web, post your published output on a web server and test it from there. If you published for LMS, put your course on an LMS and test it from there.
There were also some known issues with the exit button within Presenter 09 (I believe you've upgraded to Presenter 13 based on some of your other threads?) but I suspect some of the issues with browser security, and as Steve mentioned testing locally still hold true.
I'm not on an LMS (yet) and may never be. It's not a big deal, but it seems the designers bought themselves more trouble than the feature is worth. As someone else observed, the user can end the session by closing the browser.
