accesing non-embedded documents in subfolders OR linking modules
Mar 23, 2012
Hi,
I have successfully linked non-ebedded documents by placing them in the Articlated generated root folder and hyperlinking. However, if I have documents sitting in a folder contained in the root folder of the module can I access/ link to them as well?: Example 1: Module root folder with document -NO PROBELM. Example 2: Module root folder with Document Folder containing document. I have tried multiple ways but can't get the linking to work.
As a work around I tried creating separate modules and placing the Launcher as a hyperlink in both the body of the main module as well as the "attachment" area with either a negative result or an Active X security issue. Is this possible?
My gaols is to access a heiarchy of folders in a single modue but if I have to link modules that would be Ok. Any ideas?? Thanks for your response in advance

Hi, I was able to figure out how to link modules through Web objects, very cool. However, i was still wondering if you can access a folder heiarchy of documents when placed in the root folder ex Module root folder> folder>document1. Thanks
Hi Mike
You should be able to link the same as you have to the root folder, just add /foldername/documentname
