How can one add a small word file to a presentation without having to store it on a file server? This method would be nice to avoid permission or download problems.
You can add attachments fairly quickly in Presenter. Here's an article on the topic, I'll also provide a screencast from Jeanette that you may find helpful.
Good Morning Christine and thank you for your response. The article described where the file is stored (under the data folder) which really was my question.
When you attach a document to the presentation it is saved within the presentation (when you don't attach it as a link). Now, if you attach it as a link, the file will need to be located on a web server as you mentioned before. But if you attach it as a file, it will be downloaded from the original presentation. Hopefully this makes sense.
If you'd like, I can try to put together a small example presentation for you so you can test it and see if it suits your needs.
