Is there a setting that permits or prevents a user from advancing the slide even if narration or animation is ongoing? I've got them set to Advance by User in the Slide Properties form, but when I click the advance button in the published course, I see an all-blank pop-up and nothing happens. It feels like a bug but I'm not sure. Help!
So Restricted acts like Locked in terms of not allowing the user to advance independent of the slide narration? Setting it to Free worked, by the way. Thanks!
Yes, the restricted navigation prevents the user from advancing through the course freely. Once they have gone past previous slides, they can view those as needed.

Hi Jeb,
It sounds like you've got your course navigation set to restricted. To resolve this, use the method below:
1. Click on the Articulate menu > Player Templates
2. Select the Navigation tab
3. Change User Navigation to Free
4. Click OK and save the Player Template
5. Publish your presentation with the newly saved Player Template
If you continue to have issues, please let me know.
