Advance Options and Web Objects

May 28, 2015

Howdy all, need some help.

With the changes to YouTube, I have used the inserting web objects option to embed my videos. It took a while to figure out how, but I got it to work.

I also have several online forms inserted as web objects that are on our SharePoint site.

Some of the slides automatically advance, some do not. I have it set up that way depending on what they are doing in the presentation. The slides where the forms are located do not automatically advance, but the slides where the videos are supposed to. They do automatically advance, and that is what I want.

The problem comes in that Studio 13 does not recognize web objects the same as audio, animations, or embedded videos. So the default advance time is how long the slide is presented to the learner before advancing to the next slide. It advances even if the video is not done playing. If I want to keep the slides from advancing before the videos are done playing, I have to set the delay time to match the video length, but not all of the videos are the same length.

I know I could set it up so that the learners must advance the slides manually, I was just hoping I was missing something. I made a small example that I have attached as an Articulate Package. Am I missing an option somewhere?
