I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Are you looking to move the alignment within the browser? The only options within Presenter to change the player size, and browser settings are described here. I hope that the community can help you out with other ideas.
Did anyone ever find an answer to this please? It's driving me mad. My customers use Moodle, Chamilo and Dokeos LMS systems and in each of these the finished Presneter/Storyline output appears in the middle of the page. I can't mess around with their LMS systems so looking for a way to make Presenter/Storyline appear TOP LEFT in these LMSs and in iFrames.
Notice: There's no guarantee that this will work as expected in your environment. It's just a best guess. And as always, Articulate does not support this modification.
I haven't seen a similar design for Storyline recently, but see that you've posted in a few threads - so hopefully if someone in the community has found a way to modify the published output they'll be able to share.
It was a case of asking before testing. Sorry. I just got around to testing this in Storyline and Brian's solution worked! Many thanks. I'll have some happy clients at last. Can I suggest that this would be a good feature/option for the future as some of the LMS systems that previously offered a fixed-width option are now returning to fluid layouts as they provide more responsive templates.
I tried Brian's solution for a Storyline file but couldn't get it to work. The output is still too large when viewed on an iPad (Safari and Chrome). Was there anything special you did for Storyline?
If I understand this problem correctly, my answer was to edit the file 'story.html' in notepad. Somewhere near the end of the file there are the following lines:
Thanks Klaas for breaking out that info, and just a reminder than any edits made to the published output files are not something that our team can offer support for. So just take that path with caution. :)
The thread's a bit old, but I thought I'd chime in with an additional piece of the solution that worked for me. I adapted Brian's excellent suggestion above to try to make my content center-top aligned by leaving out the "left:0px!important;" piece. I ended up with a gap between absolute top and my content.
Adding a negative value to the top alignment and removing the 1px border solved the problem:

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for clarifying, and I hope that there is someone in the community who can assist you here.

Hello,
Here's one way to do it:

Thanks for this Brian,
The main issue is with Storyline rather than Presenter these days. Is there something similar for Storyline?
Hi Paul,

Hi Paul,
I'm happy to hear it's working - and we always welcome new feature requests and ideas. You can share them here directly with our product development team.

If I understand this problem correctly, my answer was to edit the file 'story.html' in notepad. Somewhere near the end of the file there are the following lines:
{
document.write("<table border=0 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 width='100%' height='100%' align=center>");
document.write("<tr>");
document.write("<td align=center>");
}
Change the last section into "<td align=left valign=top>" and you're done.
Thanks Klaas for breaking out that info, and just a reminder than any edits made to the published output files are not something that our team can offer support for. So just take that path with caution. :)

background: #fff;
position:absolute;

top:-10px!important;
