All slides with videos keep playing past the end of the video

Hi.

i have the updated Presenter 09.  I have short videos (with audio) that are of different sizes (14 seconds-less than 3 mins).  I converted these mp4s to flvs.  When I add a movie to play in a slide, the timeline at the bottom will play out until 2:56 minutes.  The audio and the video end long before that.  I tried this with the advance automatically setting and the by user setting, and they both play until 2:56.  I tried all my videos of varying lengths and they all play out until 2:56, even though the video "ended" some time before.  I checked to make sure that I did not accidentally add a separate sound file for those slide numbers, but I see there is no separate sound file added to play with that slide.  I have already double checked the mp4s and flvs in different players to make sure that they did not last for 2:56, but they all play fine in other players.  If anyone out there know how to fix this, please let me know. 

P.S. I have to convert the videos to flv and then add them to Presenter because Corporate says that our LMS goes wacky with mp4 videos in Articulate (weird since I thought everything gets converted to Flash anyway when the project is published).
