I have a client who moved their AP archive to a new server environment and, all of a sudden, the PDF attachments would no longer download (despite having had no such problem on their previous server). Anyway, the problem was spacing in the PDF filename. If I republished without spaces in the name, the attachments worked as they should.
Thanks for all your suggestions. After reading through AP forums and tutorials as well as working with the IT guy here at work, we finally realized that publishing the demo for CD enables testers to open and work with the pdfs.
