Animation Delay When Published to CD

Hello Everyone.  I have a series of slides, each of which starts with a title being introduced with a Wipe animation.  This all works fine in PowerPoint and in the Articulate preview.  The problem occurs when I publish to CD.  As each slide appears the wipe animation gets about half way through, stops for a few seconds, and then continues.  It's a noticeable delay and distraction in the presentation.  However, if I click through the entire presentation and restart it, the delay does not occur.  I assume this has to do with a "buffering" issue with the CD and computer memory, but I don't know enough on how to fix it.  Any suggestions?  Thanks very much.
