Annotations in Articulate Presenter

Jun 20, 2013

Is anyone having problems with the annotations function? When I create and sync annotations in my presentation it looks perfect when I do it. But when I preview or publish the annotation timing is not in sync with the narration or it's non-existent.

I did save prior to viewing. I did a software update a couple days ago. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tanya

Hi Tanya,

Have you tried checking the frames per second setting in your presentation? If this is set to something else, it can cause similar issues.

30 frames per second is the only supported frame rate at which you can include synchronized annotations. If your recorded annotations do not appear when you expect them to, it is likely due to the frames per second setting in Presentation Options > Publish. To fix your annotations:

  1. Go to Presentations > Publish.
  2. Change Publish slides at X frames per second to 30.
  3. Click OK.

Can you try that out, please, and let me know if you seen any improvement?

Thanks!
