annotations to a presentation which locks up the Articulate
Apr 02, 2014
Hi All,
Our IT provider is testing the Articulate Studio 13 but is having problems with Articulate Presenter.
On first time of running it for, on logon, if you try and add annotations to a presentation, it locks up the Articulate menu and you cannot do anything with the buttons on the menu. What you have to do is attempt to logoff but then cancel the logoff when prompted to Force logoff or cancel. When you do this the menu becomes active so you can close the application.
If you run the application again, the second time of execution, works fine, its only the first time after you have logged in each and every day.
Also, if you do select the Force logoff, it breaks the application and the Articulate Menu will no longer appear in Powerpoint. You have to re-create the user profile for it to work again.
Any suggestions how we can resolve this.
Thanks in anticipation,
Regards
Graham

Hi Graham!
I would recommend trying a repair to see if that helps the behavior.
Hi Leslie,
I will ask them to try this.

Hi,
They found that this did help however it works ok as an administrator but not as a user. This may be because admin users don’t have AppSense applied, users do.
