Has anyone posted a course to Blackboard?  I am looking for any guidance on using Articulate and Blackboard.

Thanks,
Jen

Hi Jen, and welcome! There are quite a few folks who use Blackboard so I'm sure some will chime in. In the meantime, here are a couple different Articulate users who have shared their workflow when uploading content to Blackboard:

Hi Jen,

I'm supporting a department that is using Articulate 9 and publishing the content on Blackboard 8. It hasn't been all that smooth. They are publishing as SCORM content, and the two main issues have been a) performance -- sometimes very slow loading, and b) the feature for resuming wherever you left off seems to lock out some users. Still delving into both.

I'm interested in hearing your experiences and tips. Here's the basics of what I've learned:

I found that uploading the way that you would upload any other ZIP archive (in other words, not the SCORM upload method) improves performance significantly. However, they can't then set an adaptive release rule based on whether the user has accessed the content when uploading that way.

(Note that apparently writing the results of quizzes that are within the SCORM module to Bb gradebook is either not supported by Bb or difficult to make work. What works, though, is choosing to create a gradebook column when uploading the SCORM module, then setting a rule that checks if there is any grade whatsoever. Users who view the content have a grade of 0.00 instead of nothing, which is enough for an adaptive release rule to be configured to.)
