Articulate and Video Cloud services
Mar 22, 2012
Our L&D department uses Brighcove as a video cloud service. We are having trouble with playback; however, this is only being encountered on some machines. The video either does not display at all or if it displays, playback is choppy; it starts and stops frequently. I am not able to re-create the issue on any of my machines; however, my machines are upgrades of what is available for use in the field. The videos play beautifully on the machines I have access to.
With all of that said, is this an issue of Articulate processing the web link, the video cloud service, or the actual machine being used (RAM or media capacity)?
Please help!

Hi Celestial,
Based on your description, it doesn't sound like it's related to Articulate, but rather system-specific to whatever specifications the machines running into issues are running. It might be helpful to pass along our minimum requirements for viewing content.
Yeah, that's my thought process; however, it is falling into my lap to get resolved. IT isn't being much help. I believe it is bandwidth. I think our corporate offices have a limit set to try to prevent people from watching YouTube and other video services...
