Articulate content not playing on iphone

Feb 13, 2018

I have content published to LMS and uploaded to Blackboard as a SCORM 2004 files. These files used to play on iphone devices but at some stage has stopped working. I have made sure to check the box "Use Articulate Mobile Player for IOS or Android".

This is happening for both Articulate presenter files and Storyline files. What could be causing it? A lot of our audience will be viewing from iphones.

Hi Laura,

I'm sorry for the snag you've run into with your content. Can you tell me what version of Storyline you're using? Also, what versions of the iPhone and iOS are you testing the course out on? Do you see any error messages or the content is spinning/attempting to load?

Typically hosting in an LMS and using the Articulate Mobile player requires publishing with Tin Can API. If you are using one of the SCORM options, I'd look at testing out how the HTML5 output plays on your iPhone devices. If you don't want to impact the current set up in your LMS, you could also test in an environment such as SCORM Cloud. It's a free, easy standard for LMS testing.
