Articulate is locking up on me
Sep 03, 2012
Hi
Running PP 2007 and the lastest download of Studio 09under Windows 7
Presenter keeps hanging up on me and I have to use Task Manager to stop everything in order to move forward.
When I look inside task manager I see
Annotation Translucency running
my PP running
PowerPoint slide show running
I end task PowerPoint slide show - nothing changes
I end task Annotation Translucency - nothing changes
I end task PP - and I get a document recovery task pane
I choose yes and click o.k.
Then I get a Microsoft Visual Basic window "Can't quite at this time"
I click ok
and I get a PP has stopped workking Windows is checking for a solution to the problem
After which PP restarts and I open the file from the recovery panel to move forward
Any way to avoid
Its is start to happen more and more
Thanks

I am still running into this problem.
I have tried saving after every Articulate addition.
That seems to reduce the frequency somewhat.
But then this happens again.
I am wondering if this could possibly by a file corruption problem
since it just started the last time I opened Articulate in PP 2007

Sorry for the trouble, Roelf. See if any of the steps in this article help reduce the frequency of the issue. Otherwise, you may want to contact our support team, and they'll be happy to get to the bottom of things. Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09, which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so I can follow up with you personally in the forums. And feel free to come back and leave your case number here so I can keep a close eye on it. Thanks!
Thanks Peter
Just back in the office today
and have not had much of a chance to follow up
will do so if the problem persists in the next days
In the meantime, troubleshooting another problem
