Articulate Packaging

May 08, 2014

Hi guys,

I am having a small issue with Articulate Presenter Packaging

We currently have over 60 eLearning courses created in Articulate Studio 09. I have followed the videos available for Packaging but still seem to have some issues.

Issue:

I work off a large Government network where all of our content is currently on the Q drive (not local). I would like to package up some of our courses as we are creating new versions.

When I select a course from the Q drive and use the “articulate package” feature it zip’s it up perfectly.

If I then try to “extract all” on the Q drive I am missing some engage and quiz maker files, even though they appear in the zipped folder.

As a test I have copied over the zipped file to my local: C drive and it opens the file with all of the engage and quiz maker files available.

Am I doing something wrong? Can I not open files on the Q drive?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Jill

Hi Jill!

When creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Presenter '09 courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources. See this article for more information.

When working on an Articulate Presenter course in a collaborative environment with other developers, use this workflow to avoid file corruption, loss of resources, and other erratic behavior.
