After I updated Articulate to the latest version and install Ms. Office 2013 x64bit. I can no longer user powerpoint to open any file.
I tried to uninstall Articulate Studio, and test powerpoint to see if it's working properly. Yes, indeed. it is. But after I reinstalled Articulate Studio (latest update), the crash occurs again. I can not working on anything right now.
I have the exact same problem. I have followed the instructions in the "erratic behavior" article and nothing has helped. I am up against a deadline and really need some direction.
I get " Microsoft Powerpoint has stopped working" right after I save a file and try to use the Articulate ribbon.
I've run into the same issue, but because I have to keep moving forward for some of the projects (and even though it takes a while), I save the project and reboot. Fortunately this issue for me doesn't happen too often but it will help you for a while until you get a permanent solution.
Mine is similar but doesn't crash ALL the time just very often at different points using Articulate, publishing, editing. Plus now my file is too big to upload with WP!

Hi! I downloaded and installed articulate studio from the link you have provided, but powerpoint again started to crash. Powerpoint crashes just when i open it. I can't see even the content of the document. After uninstalling studio 13 update 4, PP again starts to work.
Hi Virak! With your constant troubles, I was going to recommend that you reach out to support, but it appears that you already have (case #00426158) and that you are working with Wilbert.
I am very interested in this software but I downloaded the free trial, both as a direct download and as a zip file. I cannot enable the Articulate Presenter add-in in PowerPoint 2013 and get PowerPoint to work at all. I see that most fixes for this problem ask users to reinstall Microsoft Office, which is a time-prohibitive process. I cannot spend a day trying to get your software to place nice with my computer. Too bad. This software look like it has potential and I'm in a position to make software recommendations for my institution. I had a friend who has no need for this software download it to his computer and he got it to work right away. (Same version of Office.) A shame really.

For users that have an issue with the add-in, a simple repair usually helps. Most of the issues that remain are system dependent and our support team would be able to assist you as well.
I am new to this forum. I just purchased Studio 13 about 6 months ago. I have been reading extensively about the PPT crash and I tried every single thing mentioned here and in other forums. So here is what I did:
uninstalled/ reinstalled office 2013 (32 bit)
uninstalled/ reinstalled Studio 13, (update 5 too)
Uninstalled KasperSky 2014
Nothing seems to fix the problem.
Also I have the same Office installed on my Surface pro 3 and Presenter works in that machine. My new Dell (Windows 8.1) is not supporting this? Can somebody tell me what can get my Articulate Presenter to work?
I have spent nearly 3 days reading, installing and uninstalling programs!

Every time I try to close any powerpoint window, ppt crashes. I haven't even been using articulate. I have tried every add-on one at a time to discover which one and it is definitely articulate. I have uploaded the very newest version. What can I do?
Sorry to hear that you are having some difficulty.
You mention the newest version. Have you recently upgraded? Are you utilizing the most recent update to Presenter '13, which is Update 7? If not, I'd advise that you download the update.
If you are on Update 7, I'd advise a repair of your software.

We have had some users experience issues during installation.
Can you try the following to resolve the issue?
Install VSTO
Install at least .NET Framework 4.0
After installing the above, please restart your machine.
Thanks Leslie, but it's not working though. Still crashing every single time I open up PowerPoint.
I have uninstall office, and articulate. then reboot my pc.
reinstall them, still crashing continually.
Same problem here. Crashes every time I try to click anything on the Articulate ribbon. And I can't find my update 2 installer!! Argh.
