Articulate Presenter error

Jun 20, 2019

Continuing to get the error message: "Online presentations aren't supported. Save a copy to your local drive," whenever I attempt to click on any of the articulate icons. Currently have no access to any of the articulate tools but the rest of Powerpoint is working.

I created a new Powerpoint and saved it offline. Message continues. Any ideas?

Hi Andrew,

Sorry, we missed this last week!  You can always connect with our Support Team for more immediate assistance, as I saw you're on a 360 Teams account so you have access to live chat support.

I did see that Renson shared some details with you on working locally, and I also wanted to check what version of Office you're using? You'll want to use one of the supported options listed here.

Also, I know a few folks saw this error message in Presenter 13 when attempting to add Articulate Presenter resources to a PowerPoint presentation that's saved in your Microsoft SkyDrive account. In those situations you'll see this error message:

"Online presentations aren't supported. Save a copy to your local hard drive to continue."

To publish an online presentation with Presenter, do the following:

  • Go to the File tab on the PowerPoint ribbon, and choose Save As.
  • Browse to a location on your local computer, and click Save.
  • Now you can add Presenter resources and publish.

Let me know if the above error matches what you saw and if those directions help!
