I am seeing this message also on my iMac running Parallels 9 yet I ave successfully installed it on my Windows PC running 8.1...are there any additional steps I need to take when installing on my Mac? And yes I have followed all the steps in the link above ;-)
I don't believe there are other steps than what Leslie mentioned for that error that are specific to working on a Mac, other than the general steps here for working on a Mac in Parallels - which I assume you've seen?
