Articulate Presenter Menu stopped working

Hello all,
I have tried to access articulate 13 studio this morning but keep getting the message 'a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available'. I have restart my computer a couple of times yet no luck.
I did a recent update so Im not sure that is the issue.When I click on articulate, Im asked to enter the serial number to activate , then it picks up the serial numbers saved and i get the error message. Im not sure why an activate message should even display.
I'm not sure what the issue is, could you please help?

I would recommend conducting a repair of your software to get this issue corrected.
our IT guy did a repair yesterday but its still ongoing. do you have any other suggestions? I have a hard deadline , really appreciate your help:-(
