Articulate Presenter quiz

Hi, I have divided my lesson in different chapters and have questions after each chapter. If the user passes he is allowed to continue and if he/she fails they are sent back to the beginning of the chapter. My problem is that when they come to the quiz again the result is still "not passed" and they are, again, sent to the beginning of the chapter. How can I let the users get a second try after going trough the chapter again?

Hi Jørn,
Thanks for reaching out! Tell me more about the settings you selected for the quiz properties When user passes and When user fails.
On the Passing setting, have you selected "goes to next slide?"
Hi Alyssa
Thank you for replying.
I have used that selection for each chapter and referer to the actual start page(new page for each chapter) but still it shows "not passed" when I get to the quiz again. I have now also added more than one try but that does not help either.

This is how I have set it up. The user is sent back to chapter start if user fails but is not able to retake the quiz
Hi Jørn,
Thanks for sharing more details about your setup.
The only way the learner can retake the quiz is if they click the "Retry Quiz" button on the result slide.
It sounds like you need more custom navigation than Presenter and Quizmaker can offer. I noticed you're using Articulate 360, so Storyline 360 might be a better fit for this project.
Storyline 360 will allow you to reset the quiz and go back to a content slide so the learner can review the content and take the quiz again.
Hi Alyssa
I could not find the Retry quiz option.
If I use Storyline I will not be able to make it in portrait?
Best regards

Hi Jørn,
Here's how you can add a Retry button to the Result slide:
Can you tell me more about your question regarding making Storyline in Portrait?
Hi Alyssa
Thank you for your support.
I make most of my course presentations, up to 200 pages, in PP and those are in portrait mode. In Storyline I haveent found a good way to edit or make elearnings since it is landscape as default.
Is there an easy solution to solve this?
Best regards

Hi Jørn,
Could you change the story size when you start building the course to reflect a portrait orientation? (So flipping the width and height attributes). Here are more details on how to adjust the story size.
Ashley
I am not sure what you mean but I do make my presentations in portrait and when trying to import in Storyline they appear in Landscape. I will look at your suggestion.
Thank you for your help and have a nice day.
Best regards

Hi Jørn,
The default slide size is width 720 by height 540, which makes it appear landscape. But you could customize the slide/story size prior to importing in your Powerpoints it so that instead you have a slide with a lower width by higher height to have it appear in a portrait style.
Here's a quick look at what I mean:
