Articulate Quiz not triggering next learning object in Moodle

We have an old course that has recently begun to have problems. The course was created in Articulate 09 and uploaded as SCORM. It has a series of training followed by a quiz. The set up is: completed the training module and the quiz becomes available; pass that quiz and the next training module is available. While completing the course (viewing it) triggers the availability of the quiz completing the quiz successfully is not triggering the next module.
I thought it might just be a problem with the old course but I am trying to get a new course up and running and am having the same problem with the quiz not triggering the next module.
I have spent a lot of time with my Moodle support people to no avail. I am now desperate to get some help as the deadline for releasing the course has already passed.

To do this you need to set up a multi SCO which is something Articulate do not support but should be simple using simple scorm packager.
Of course I may have misread this and you are using conditional activities. In this case you need to enable conditional activities, the set your training module to be either hidden or disabled until your previous course course either gets a score or is completed

Thanks Phil. The course is a series of SCORM activities - I seemingly did not make that clear in my question - comprised of a a training activity followed by a quiz and then another training activity.
I have enabled conditional activities and they are working in the old courses that were made in Articulate 09. This course has been done in 13 and is set up in the same way in Moodle but is not working. Completing the module triggers the quiz but the quiz is not triggering the opening of the next module.
