Articulate ribbon does nothing

I've reinstalled Articulate and stopped all anti-virus software but got the InstallLicence.exe error and tried the fix mentioned on Articualte help section. It still won't work and when I load up Powerpoint I see the ribbon and when i publish a new document it will ask me where to save it, so I tell it where, and after I click Save the dialogue box closes and nothing else happens. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I have worked on the same problem with Windows 7/PP 2010 all afternoon. I tried the strategies recommended above with no success.

I installed PP2007, where the application immediately disabled the Articulate add-on. I re-enabled this add-on in 2007 with success. So,

I tried the same approach with PP2010, again with success. Try this.

  1. Run PowerPoint as an Administrator.
  2. Select PowerPoint options--Add-Ins
  3. Select Disabled Items--GO.
  4. If the Articulate add-in appears here (as it did in mine), enable it.
  5. Restart PowerPoint.
