Articulate Studio '09 and Windows 10

Sep 04, 2015

I installed Articulate Studio '09 onto my PC after upgrading to Windows 10 and now I realize that they are not compatible. Not surprised! But I can't get Articulate Studio '09 to uninstall.

Using the control panel (Programs>uninstall a program) launches the "INSTALL" routine instead of the uninstall.

So I guess I have to do this manually?  Do you have some process steps?

Thanks

Just a thought, before uninstalling have you try to run the "solve compatibility issue"?

That is done by right cliking on the program you want to run on Windows 10, on the menu that shows select the option "Solve Compatibility Problems". I think what it does is that Windows will try to run it as if it was running under Windows 8.

Hey All.

Thanks BUT I was able to find those specific directions on the forum before I posted my query. And as I said the steps do not lead to an uninstall routine but rather to an install. You would think unchecking the box for one of the apps would lead to an uninstall but it only controls which ones are installed.  I think there's probably a more manual process for uninstalling. Or maybe the programmers have created an uninstall routine similar to the Norton's removal tool. I tried to contact Gabe but when I click on the contact button I was instructed to post here so everyone could benefit.
